The materials selected play an essential role in the character of the pergola. Wood, with its natural warmth and versatility, offers a classic look and blends harmoniously into most environments. Aluminium, which is light and corrosion-resistant, provides a modern look and requires little maintenance. Wrought iron, meanwhile, lends a handcrafted, romantic touch, adding timeless charm to the structure.
Once the design is finalised, our craftsmen spring into action to build the pergola. The construction process includes cutting and shaping the materials to specification, creating solid supports and securing the structure in place. The quality of the construction is essential to ensure the stability and durability of the pergola, especially if it is to support climbing plants or lighting equipment.
Customisation of the pergola can include elements such as decorative beams, wrought iron ornaments, translucent roof coverings or sails for extra protection from the sun. The aim is to create a pergola that not only meets the practical needs of the customer, but also adds an aesthetic dimension to the outdoor space.
